What if I am not flexible
?
What should I wear to yoga class?
How much does it cost?
How often should I do yoga?
What should I bring to beach yoga?
Cool, so...how do I sign up?
Q: What if I'm not flexible?
A:
There is no prerequisite that you can touch your toes, or anything like that, in yoga. If your goal is to get more flexible, then yoga will meet you right where you are.
Q: What should I wear?
A:
Wear something that is stretchy, but not so loose that bunches up or exposes you when you bend forward. Sweatpants and a t-shirt that is not gigantic, and shorts that are not too short, will be perfect.
Q: What is the price of a class?
A:
The cost is currently ten dollars a class at Bodysculpting.
Yoga at the beach is also $10 a class. A
10-class pass
is now available and good for 1 year from purchase.
Q: How often should I practice yoga?
A:
I suggest that, at first, you try to attend class at least twice a week. If you are just learning yoga, try to do a few the postures at home every day, setting aside just ten minutes a day at first, then working up to more.
Q: What should I bring to beach yoga?
A:
Bring a yoga mat, water, and sunglasses. Apply sunscreen prior to the AM class for best sunscreen results! If you don't have a mat, I usually have a few extras.
Q: How do I sign up?
A:
No need to sign up ahead of time- just show up. Current class schedule is available at the
Home
page, above left. You can now purchase a
10-class pass
and pay in person or online. $90. Great for gifting!
